Inappropriate use of antimalarial medications can accelerate the development of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), undermining treatment efficacy and public health goals. Artemether-lumefantrine (A/L) is the first-line treatment for uncomplicated malaria in Nigeria, yet its misuse persists, particularly among young adults.
